Filter Zombies

Filter Zombies is the solo project of Yorkshire-based musician Matt Irvine. 

Primarily electronics-based, with psychedelic, acid, drum and bass, electro and post-rock stylings, Filter Zombies melds ethereal synths with dreamy guitar, power beats, bleeps, whooshes and dub bass, in search of space, strangeness and spiritual nirvana.

Filter Zombies’ music has several strands. Core electronics/beat-based performances and recordings explore death, rebirth, politics and data loss. Filter Zombies’ ambient shows and releases are more contemplative and slowly-unfolding, with themes of nature, utopia and spiritual awakening.
